The South Devon Players Theatre & Film Company is based in the town of Brixham in Devon. It was founded to create high quality opportunities for local people to create professional careers in theatre and to tour new productions to audiences across Southwest England enhanced by global streaming.
Our productions explore history, culture and classical literature and they have won numerous awards for our work. The organisation won the All-England Epic Award in 2017 and the Theatre Actors’ Association Theatre Partner Award in New York (USA) in 2019. We are committed to breaking down barriers to participation in theatre for actors, crew and audiences.
